How LandAjob Works

LandAjob offers working SSDI and SSI beneficiaries cash reimbursements for work expenses of up to $13,000 over 3-5 years. We can reimburse for any work-related expenses you must pay for in order to keep your job. Such as: transportation; uniforms; job coaching; tuition; cell phone/computer; child/elder care; health care not covered by insurance; and many others. Self-employment expenses can count, too. But food and shelter costs do not. 

  1. Find a Job

    Do you receive disability benefits and have a job that pays at least $1050 a month?  Congratulations!  Please go to Step 2.

    Are you unemployed right now, but thinking about working in the future?  If so, LandAjob can help.

  2. Complete your Individual Work Plan

    We'll help you fill out the Individual Work Plan (IWP) the Social Security Administration needs to start your reimbursement payments.  This form is the key to our program, and your payments.

  3. Talk to a LAJ Representative

    A brief phone call lets us work together to complete your IWP.  We'll send it to Social Security so you can begin the reimbursement process.

  4. Send Us Documentation (Pay Stubs and Receipts)

    The good news is the government will help you cover your eligible work expenses. Of course, they require documentation. We help you collect it, and we send it on to the Ticket to Work program.
